Jared Leto’s alleged demands while filming Tron: Ares have resurfaced, including claims that crew members were told not to make eye contact with him and that fresh fish be prepared for him each day.

A production source told Page Six the actor and Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman “made several odd requests during filming” of the 2025 Disney movie. Among them was an alleged rule barring "eye contact of any kind" from cast and crew members.

The source also said Leto was following a diet that "consisted of eating only fish" and requested that a fisherman be brought to the production to “catch and prepare fresh fish every day.” This comes after four women accused Jared Leto of criminal sexual conduct when they were teenagers.

The studio did not ultimately hire a full-time fisherman, according to the source, though staff “did scramble” to determine whether the unusual arrangement was possible.

Leto, who has become known for remaining immersed in his roles, also allegedly “refused” to speak out of character during production. The source said they did not personally witness the actor behave sexually inappropriately while working on the film amid ongoing allegations against the Hollywood actor.

The set claims were accompanied by comments from a former colleague who toured with Leto’s band and described the experience as difficult.

"He’s not a good guy. There’s no soul behind his eyes," the former colleague said. "He was a horrible vibe while working with him and he made people uncomfortable. It was really hard to talk to him, if he even tried to talk to us.”

The former worker also claimed Leto expected assistants to “hold open doors and his cape.”

“People who have known him for years have also said that he is very problematic with women,” the person said. “Everyone in the music industry knows there was going to be a day of reckoning for him.”

The renewed attention comes after 10 women accused Leto of sexual misconduct in the BBC documentary Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret.

Several used pseudonyms while describing alleged encounters between 2002 and 2016. The accounts involved women who said they were teenagers or 19 at the time, while Leto was in his 30s and 40s.

The documentary included allegations of sexual assault, grooming, sexually explicit phone calls, and threats. The BBC said it supported many of the accounts with interviews, photographs, messages, and other material.

Two men who previously worked with Leto’s band also described interactions they said involved the musician and teenage girls.

Leto, 54, has strongly denied the accusations in a statement: "I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life," he said in a statement. "These claims are absolutely and categorically false."

The actor also denied allegations raised by nine women in a June 2025 Air Mail report.
