Karol G experienced an incident with a fan during her Toronto concert on July 29.
The singer kept performing as the concertgoer grabbed her by the arms during a song.
Drake was also in attendance at the show.
Karol G came face-to-face with a fan who rushed the stage during a recent Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour live show in Toronto.
Multiple fan videos circulating online show the singer holding hands with a fan who made his way on stage during the July 29 show at Rogers Stadium. As the Colombian artist (real name Carolina Giraldo Navarro) attempted to back away, the concertgoer got closer and put his arm around her neck. He also tried to grab the microphone out of Karol’s hand before two security guards stepped in.
As Karol continued the song, her fan grabbed hold of her arm and pulled her closer. She obliged, walking closer to the man, who then grabbed hold of both arms. The security guards eventually restrained the fan, pulling him off stage. Karol continued her song, smiling at the crowd and dancing as she ran to the opposite side of the stage.
Entertainment Weekly reached out to Karol G’s rep for comment.

Aside from the onstage incident, Karol’s concert was a star-studded one with Drake in attendance. The rapper appeared on the jumbotron at the show, according to fan videos. Drake, famously a Toronto native, was smiling on camera as he showed off his watch before dancing to Karol’s performance.
Drake previously offered Karol G a shoutout on his song “New Bestie,” released in May on his MAID OF HONOUR record.
“Yeah, I want a Latina, I want a Latina,” the song’s lyrics read. “I want a G like Karolina.”

It’s also been widely rumored that Drake will make a surprise appearance on Karol’s upcoming record, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto (which translates to I Don’t Regret Feeling So Much), set to drop on Aug. 7. However, no collaborations have been confirmed just yet.
When discussing this new era of music, Karol told ELLE Magazineearlier this month that the “next version” of her will be “new” to fans.
“Before, I was trying to be a super powerful version of myself all the time,” she said during the interview, published on July 15. “It was like I put on a shell, like an armor—‘I can handle it, nothing touches me, nothing gets to me.’ But you have to exist in all your versions in order to have that power.”

Karol explained that she wants her fans to know they don’t always have to be “a bichota,” referencing the title of her 2020 hit.
“I also want to teach them to live through sadness,” she added. “When time passes, and you see things more clearly, you say: ‘It had to happen to learn this, to understand this, to value this more.’”
Karol G’s new record, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, will be released on Aug. 7.
