Kelly Clarkson's Latest Dating Confession Is Getting a Big Reaction From Fans

Kelly Clarkson is getting honest about her love life.

The singer split from her late ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, in 2020, and has since chosen to end The Kelly Clarkson Showto better support the former couple’s children, River Rose and Remington “Remy” Alexander.

And, it sounds like she’s purposefully putting romance on the back burner for the moment, as she revealed during the July 25 performance of her Studio Sessions residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

“People are like, ' Why are you single?’” she said in a clip posted on Instagram. “I’m like, first of all—there are a lot of people out here making single look real good! You know? And if you could really understand what I meant by that is, you see relationships, and you’re like, I’m so glad I’m going home alone!’ You know what’s not happening in my house? That s***!”

When Kelly’s comments about dating started circulating, many rushed to agree.

“❤️ AMEN KELLY! 💯🙏🏻❤️❌⭕️,” one person cheered in the comments. “So so true,” a different follower added.

This isn’t the first time Kelly’s spoken about this. During a Studio Sessions performance back in July 2025, she also got candid about why she’s choosing not to date.

“Dating can be very difficult—which is why I don’t,” she said at the time, according an article in Page Six.
