Rumer Willis is defending her parenting skills against critics who just don't understand.
"When someone starts judging my parenting," Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's eldest daughter wrote in text over a video of herself breastfeeding Louetta, her 3-year-old daughter.
The video, shared to Instagram on Sunday, then cut to a 2023 TikTok from user @smoothjasmine, in which the original poster explains the difference between "my business" and "your business" by drawing circles that don't overlap on a whiteboard. "I am here," she says, drawing an X inside the "my business" circle, "and you are also here," she says, drawing a second X just beneath. The poster then draws an arrow back to the "your business" circle, kindly encouraging the nosiest amongst us to stay in their lanes.
"Sorry not sorry," Willis wrote in the caption.
Entertainment Weekly has reached out to a representative for Willis with a request for comment.
The 37-year-old shares Louetta, nicknamed Lou, with ex Derek Richard Thomas, a musician. The couple welcomed their first and only child in April 2023.
Though she didn't specify exactly what provoked her video justifying her decision to breastfeed her 3-year-old, she has been outspoken about reactions to that decision in the past.
Last March, Willis shared a picture of herself breastfeeding Louetta at home, with her eyes and mouth comically augmented using an Instagram filter.

"For the haters who come at me about breastfeeding my 2 yr old I hope you have a blessed day 😘,” she wrote over the now-expired Instagram stories post, per PEOPLE.

Willis announced that she and Thomas had broken up in August 2024.
Though she and Thomas co-parent Louetta, Willis has previously described the challenges she's faced taking care of her daughter solo. In February, she posted a photo of herself looking pensive, holding yarn, a laptop, a book, and other items with the caption, "The todo list in never ending. I need a nap and a duvet day asap."
In the photo, Rumer surrounded herself with text that read like a never-ending to-do list in question, including "laundry," "play dates," "working out," "meal prepping," and "filming content."

In a follow-up post shared shortly thereafter, she explained that being the daughter of A-listers hasn't made life any easier.
"Just had to clarify since it seems there are quite a few uninformed and rude people in my comments on this post," she wrote. "I work 4 different jobs to provide for my daughter. I am the sole provider for her. I don't live off a trust fund or get money from my parents. Most of the time I don't have help with her. So how about y'all pause before you judge and assume."
